KAWAZ for sustainable lifestyles and communities
KAWAZ is our original magazine featuring active and creative individuals, who seek for their interests and unique collaborations to overcome community or environment issues. As we believe a sustainable lifestyle is based on a sustainable mindset, we dig into their paths and philosophies.
We are truly fascinated by the alternative stories created by inspiring and heartening people.
Third place for thinking
To think ouside of the box, we need a special place outside of the traditional values and judgements.
Third place for thinking is a meet-up place for KAWAZ.
We have various events - book club meetings and sustainability seminars - at different places.
Join us and enjoy open discussion, meet new friends, and find new ideas for a breakthrough!
Cross-cultural communication
We believe that the approach to sustainability is twofold: micro and macro, or individual and global.
Our individual choices matter for the environment and climate changes.
In facilitating such twofold perspectives, cross-cultural communication is the key.
To foster mutual understanding among dufferent cultures, we provide various events, seminars,
and meetup opportunities.
Itabashi SDGs Partner
We prioritize the practice and engagement for sustainability, and thus
want to be more active as a player in the sustainable field, by tapping into the people and their wisdom covered in KAWAZ. As one of the places for such practice, we registered for the Itabashi SDGs partner in March 2025.
Primarily on collaborative projects with Gallery and Cafe Patina in Narimasu,
we work on activities to pursue sustainable lifestyles.
